How to win against the fear of Covid-19

Welcome my friends! First of all, let me say that in light of this Covid-19 or Coronavirus if you will, and in the immortal words of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself!”

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Tim 1:7-10 KJV

“Fear is an emotion which is induced by a perceived threat of someone or something being dangerous. It is also believed to be a protective emotion that urges to either confront the danger or escape from it (fight-or- flight response) .But in severe or extreme cases, when we are in a horror, a freezing or paralyzing effect is also possible.

People often confuse emotional anxiety with fear. But the basic difference between these two emotions is that anxiety is not associated with any immediate threat. Fear is often related to the future events like worsening of conditions or continuation of conditions that are unacceptable. Fear is often about some danger that may happen instantly.

Some of the common fears are fear of ghosts and demons, cockroaches, snakes, spiders, water, bridges, tunnels, enclosed spaces, needles, failure, people, public speaking, social rejection ,intimacy, examinations, driving, flying, heights, clowns, death, terrorist attacks, criminal, war, gang violence, the future and being alone.

It is found that people who associate with religious thoughts more often than others have least ‘fear of death’. When asked to give an explanation, they have said that they are convinced that there is an afterlife. But in general, every person without exception has more or less fear of death. ‘Fear of the unknown’ may be the fear of what might happen after 10 years or even the fear of tomorrow. Many people are scared even to make a decision in fear of what might lie in the near future.”

My name is Douglas Watts, and I am very passionate about seeing people become who God has made them to be. With special heart I seek to minister to those who are bound by fear and the sinfulness of this world such as drugs and alcohol abuse. Seeing fellow brothers and sisters in Christ living boring, routine lives entangled by the “worries of this world and deceitfulness of wealth” also causes me great anguish.
Over the last 17 years, I have been active with a street ministry that seeks to empower those who struggle with negative and destructive elements of this world that destroy them and their families. The fear of the Coronavirus is something that my ministry has a special interest in right now and has taken center stage in my fight to help others deal with this overwhelming form of fear. Although this website has been designed to address the needs of people struggling with the bonds of addiction, the testimonials posted here reveal in no uncertain words that power of God to deliver from everything that could possibly hold us in bondage, including the bondage of living in fear of the Coronavirus.
This website is also designed for me to share the Good News, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in hopes of encouraging you, dear reader, to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you haven't received Jesus as Lord yet, you're not expected to  do so at this time. However, I would challenge you to read the material contained in this website with an open mind and receiving heart, and afterward if you still feel the same about not receiving our Lord Jesus then at least you should discover how to free yourself from the fear of the Coronavirus! Freeing you from addiction or the bondage of fear is all the same to God and is available to all humankind. Please don't spend another second living in this fear so I encourage you to start immediately with doing something about it. Why don't you get started right now?

With that said, we would also love to partner with individuals or groups wanting to share in our street ministry. Our Contact form is below and our Schedule page shows our street ministry dates, times, and locations. All that's required is a passion to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

My mission is to execute God's plan for my life in reaching out to the unsaved, as well as the saved, in hopes that they too will come to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and empower themselves with weapons of warfare through my testimonials, spiritual motivation, and words of wisdom.

What this website hopes to achieve is simply to serve as an extention of my street ministry where many of you were directed to this site by receiving a tract from me or someone else who received a tract from me and passed it on to you.

At the forefront of the information presented here are my testimonials that present indisputable truth of how God's hand has worked in my life, and hopefully will serve as undisputed truth for you that God is still in the miracle working business. Though I am not an ordained minister, I am - as all believers are - commissioned by God to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all mankind by witnessing about God's saving grace and His astonishing favor bestowed on those who call on the name of Jesus and seek the Kingdom of Heaven. If you, dear friend, have found your way to this website, it means God has surely lead you here and is about to bless you beyond anything you could ever ask or think. I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ bless you richly and break every chain, loose every hold, heal every wound, and lift every head!

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."       Mk 16:15 KJV

"Woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel." 1 Cor 9:16 KJV
